Cannabis and the law

Cannabis and cannabis-like drugs can affect your physical and mental well-being.

The use of cannabis outside of strict/limited regulated medicinal purposes for specific products is illegal in Australia. If you use, sell or supply cannabis (leaf, resin or oil) to someone else and get caught, you could face significant fines and other penalties, including a prison sentence.

It is also illegal to drive under the influence of any illicit drugs, including cannabis.
